The Great Western Railway (GWR) was a British railway company that linked London with the south west and west of England and most of Wales. Founded in 1883! Some called it "God's Wonderful Railway" or as the "Great Way Round". Its now been added to the UNESCO's World Heritage Sites list. You can enjoy a ride from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth by 'steam train' pulled by an original steam powered locomotive.

Coupled with (excuse the punn) a CAMRA (CAMpaign for Real Ale) beer festival, it makes a great day out... well recommended!
